The Birch is a potent symbol of new beginnings as the first UK species to grow new leaves after winter. Beautiful through all seasons with its striking and distinct bark, it reminds us of the cyclical nature of life as we enter necessary phases of wintering and subsequent growth through life’s challenges.
Each leaf is painstakingly hewn and filed into shape from a blank sheet of brass; smoothed and polished by hand. The golden leaf is suspended from a pretty and hard wearing 16 inch 14k gold-filled rope chain.
